The rental at 1937 Veranda Place was very clean, comfortable, and located conveniently between the Brownwood and Lake Sumter squares. While the golf cart developed a mechanical issue and we had to rent a golf cart for the majority of our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Villages. Two other minor issues to note are the mattress in the master bedroom was not comfortable and we could not get cold water in the kitchen and the master bath. However, the house is a great place to stay and, with improvements made to these previously mentioned items, it would truly be a perfect vacation place.
We were very pleased with our stay in The Villages, 1937 Veranda Place The house was as described new updated furniture in the living room. The bedrooms bright airy and cozy. The house was clean and well kept. The kitchen was well equipped for all your cooking and baking needs. Lots of containers too. The air fryer was appreciated. Lots of towels in both bathrooms. The lanai was very nice to sit out for coffee and meals. A bbq would have been a bonus. The Landry facilities in the garage were much appreciated. Having a golf cart come with the house was very helpful The area was excellent, close to the adult pool golf courses and restaurants and grocery shopping. The house was in a convenient location close to I75 and the Florida Turnpike. Getting to the 3 ‘ Squares’ was very easy. Dealing with Down Home Properties was easy simple and direct. They kept us informed thru text and email. Deposits and payments were made clear. Our security deposit was received shortly after arriving home. We highly recommend the property and the management company. Looking forward to returning in the future! Thank you!
